On the Generating Function for Intervals in Young's Lattice

In this paper, we study a family of generating functions whose coefficients are polynomials that enumerate partitions in lower order ideals Young's lattice. Our main result is satisfies rational recursion and therefore functions. As an application, calculate the asymptotic behavior cardinality for "average" partition fixed length give homological interpretation relation to Grassmannians their Schubert varieties.
